Product Description

Would you like to …

• simplify your life?

• stay young in mind and body?

• learn the simple secrets of the world’s healthiest and longest living people?

FACT: The healthiest, longest living individuals throughout history –
who have lived to 80, 90 and even 100-plus years of age without ever
suffering from obesity, diabetes, heart disease, dementia, osteoporosis
or cancer - have never heard of good fats, bad fats, low carb diets,
glycaemic index, phytochemicals, optimal heart rates, or any other modern
health ‘fads’. We Westerners drown in such information, yet have rates
of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, obesity and stress disorders in epic
proportions.

Combining ancient Eastern wisdom (Ayurveda), thousand-year-old spiritual
teachings, natural health science secrets, and the latest modern research,
'Ancient Wisdom for Modern Health' will show you how to reconnect to the timeless,
natural wisdoms of healthy living.

You will learn how to;

• regularly experience your natural state of happiness, vitality and flow

• nourish the most important factor in your lifelong health - your emotional health

• understand ‘food intelligence’ to make healthy eating as simple as A, B, C

transform your exercise from ‘no pain no gain’ into a mind, body and spirit high

lose weight naturally (as proven by cultures who have remained healthy and slim
for thousands of years) in ways that have absolutely nothing to do with counting calories,
analysing fats or doing difficult exercise

eliminate mental lethargy and reduce depression

reduce your risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, autoimmune disease,
and bounce out of bed each morning feeling light, clear and energised

• maintain a healthy weight, enjoy sound sleep and delay the ageing process by understanding Nature's cycles

enliven your inner spiritual source to improve every area of your life

• make staying healthy and happy SIMPLE (not complicated like modern-day health advice)

If you want to remain youthful in mind, body and soul, experience more contentment
and joy in life, and make good health simpler
, this book will show you how.

What Others Say About 'Ancient Wisdom for Modern Health'

"Mark, I just spent the past 3 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia and I took your book with me. It was the best read I've had in years and I got so much from it. I've been cracking my neck to email you to tell you what I thought. I can honestly say everything you wrote made absolute sense to me and having had the benefit from reading it in those 2 countries was a blessing as I actually took notice and saw what you were saying played out first hand.

Your book made perfect sense to me. It opened my eyes to new ideas but just as importantly it clarified many things for me that have often perplexed me and contradicted my instinctive thoughts - such as making myself eat that big breakfast at 6am because it's the 'most important meal of the day'! Thank you."

Glenn Taylor - CEO Vic Nurses Health Program

"Your book is absolutely FANTASTIC! Both Amy (my daughter) and I are feeling better already just by following a few of your suggestions. It really is easy Mark, it's a matter of just stopping for a minute and listening to your body. I tend to rush around so much, that sometimes I wonder why I feel sooooooooo tired. It is about balance and your book is a reminder of what we need to do for ourselves in order to live a full and healthy life. I keep it by my bedside and refer to it often!!! Thanks so much. "

  1. Your way of bringing smiles and laughs all the time is just fantastic!

Posted by Elsa Ciria - Madrid on 27th Sep 2011

I am a spanish girl who was very impressed after reading your book. I absolutley loved it! and ever since I read it, I have tried to stick to the seven wisdoms.

I am a bit slow reading and I am normally not very concentrated on what I read, but with your book was completely different, and I don't usually even read in English! I was very surprised! And your way of bringing smiles and laughs all the time is just fantastic!

You could also be a comedian!! I will also say that since I read your book my family and I squat when we go to the toilet and...God! It is much more easy!!!! Lol!

Trying to be in good health from Madrid.

  4. Could Not Put It Down

Posted by Liz Mabbutt on 3rd Jun 2011

Sorry about the delay in replying with feedback about the book as it took me no time at all to read the book.....actually, I could not put it down and when I finished it, I read it 2 more times (with much pleasure) so it would really sink in.
My personal history involves a lot of traditional medicines and I'm a true believer in connecting with yourself and knowing best what your body needs. I used to be a naturopath many years ago... but with 3 children (2 born with autism spectrum) I lost the confidence and self-trust to ever practise again. But thanks to your book, it has evoked my passion again and encouraged me to continue to live the lifestyle I lost so many years ago and to continue to raise my family on these principals as best I can, despite my hurdles. Thank you for bringing that passion back out in me.

  5. Loved The Book & The Ayurvedic Tips

Posted by Richard Esquinas - The American Yogi – Japa Yoga founder, producer of multiple US TV Yoga segments on 14th Mar 2011

As a life long seeker of truth, a 35 year daily practitioner of yoga and meditation, and a 15 year full time yoga teacher, it was refreshing to read ‘Ancient Wisdom for Modern Health’. Finally a book written with exactitude and simplicity in its unveiling and sharing of these much needed longevity and Ayurvedic secrets. I will frequently and joyfully recommend this book to all my students and my self improvement peers.

  7. Really Special Read

Posted by Bruce Connolly - Pure Design on 12th Jan 2011

Your book is seriously good. For me, it's one of those really special reads where I feel so genuinely fortunate to have come across it. You have got so many fabulous, essential truths in there, which really strike a chord with me.

It had such an impact as I’m often confused about what is best in health and life. I tend to unnecessarily complicate things, which isn't helped when there is always such conflicting 'professional' advice. Your book is a breath of fresh air. Just beautiful. Can't wait to see what else you have cooking. Thanks so much. I loved it!

  8. Brilliant & Funny

I have read your book from cover to cover - what a brilliant read. You must have met some amazing people in your research for the book.

  9. Eastern Wisdom Seen First Hand

Posted by Glenn Taylor - CEO Vic Nurses Health Program on 11th Oct 2010

Mark, I just spent the past 3 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia and I took your book with me. It was the best read I've had in years and I got so much from it.

I've been cracking my neck to email you to tell you what I thought. I can honestly say everything you wrote made absolute sense to me and having had the benefit from reading it in those 2 countries was a blessing as I actually took notice and saw what you were saying played out first hand...people drinking jasmine tea by the roadside @ 7am, noodle soup @ 9am, fish and rice @ 12.00, fruit everywhere, soup in the evening, early to bed, early to rise, 80 year olds (who look 50) doing tai chi by the riverside in busy Saigon, afternoon siestas...the whole lot. It was so good to be able to read your book and then see the practical played out for real before my eyes.

Your book made perfect sense to me. It opened my eyes to new ideas but just as importantly it clarified many things for me that have often perplexed me and contradicted my instinctive thoughts - such as making myself eat that big breakfast at 6am because it's the 'most important meal of the day'!

Unlike on many other occasions in my life where I've pledged to make changes to my behaviour I'd like to tell you that I've embraced the principles of what you've discussed and whilst I don't wish to lead a perfectly pure life I can say the benefits and enjoyment are there.

Since my return to Oz I've been struck by the western arrogance we hold and can see vividly the way we live our lives and can clearly see why we do suffer the illnesses etc we do and it all makes sense.

There's an enormous amount to be said for the views / attitudes / beliefs / lifestyles of our eastern neighbours...the proof is there for all to see!

  10. FANTASTIC!
